Boughton Colemers Country House (B.C.)

This home blends naturally beneath stately trees into a beautiful setting and is a mere cast away from the trout stocked dam. It has 3 twin rooms with electric blankets all sharing one bathroom and an extra loo. It also has a large studio where 3 double sleeper couches for extra bedding are available. A large farm kitchen with lots of pantry, separate diningroom and separate lounge. Also there is a cottage in the garden with a double room, 3 twin rooms and a room with 4 beds. There are a further 2 sleeper couches in this cottage, too. 2 Bathrooms.

During the day one can enjoy canoes on the dam or a hammock in the shade of an 80 year old tree on the edge of the dam. Spend your evening with sundowners on the jetty while you watch the sun set behind Mt Sutherland, or, relax beside one of the 3 fireplaces!

Pear Tree Cottage (sleeping 4)
"This must be the quaintest thing I ever knew"
It has 1 double and 1 twin room sharing one bathroom with a ball-n-claw bath. A lounge/diningroom sharing a healthy hearth. A kitchen which has the old Aga stove in place but for convenience, something electric. This cottage has an unsophisticated, relaxed ambience. It is the perfect getaway-from-it-all destination. To take in the view of the majestic mountains with a breath of fresh country air, will knock your socks off and recharge those batteries instantly!

All the above accommodation is self-catering and serviced. It is also provided with linen but please bring your own towels. The kitchens are fully equipped but not fancy .ie. no T.V.s or microwaves! They have fridge/freezer, stove, kettle, toaster and all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Both the cottage and the homestead have their own garden furniture and portable braai facilities(supply your own charcoal).Wood for fireplaces and fresh farm milk can be purchased on the farm.
