Directions
From the N3-travelling north (after the Cedara turnoff) or travelling south (after Howick/Midmar turnoff): Take EXIT 99 Bulwer/Underberg Southern Drakensberg turnoff and proceed through Bulwer. It is approximately 1 1/2 hrs to Underberg. Drive through Underberg for a further 26km on the tar. Turn right at the 2nd Bushmansnek turnoff. Take this dirt road into the mountains. First you will approach the Boughton Colmers signboard on your right (10,5km). If you bypass this turnoff and go a further 2,5km you will get to the Elton signboard near a stone wall on your left. Take this to get to Pear Tree Cottage. A Great idea is to stop at the farmhouse coffee shop as you turn onto the dirt road and enjoy one of Kate's light lunches with tea or coffee.
